Defiled Altar

When the altar is defiled, disaster befalls the land and the people. These are the words of the Prophet of the Lord (paraphrased). 

⁸ But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine,[Daniel1]

Daniel, though a young man, must have known the severity of the consequences of defilement. He must have known that it was defilement that caused Israel to end up in captivity in Babylon. Israel decided to defile the Sabbaths of the Lord.

The Lord had warned Israel many times. He said:

³³ ‘“Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it. ³⁴ Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell, for I, the Lord, dwell among the Israelites.”’ [Numbers 35, NIV]

Sin defiles the land and the earth. Indeed, sin defiles the entire universe. It defiles creation. Adam sinned and the consequence was death because the wages of sin is death [Romans 6:23]. God cursed the earth and Man saying: By the sweat of your brow     you will eat your food. Indeed it was painful to toil and till the land. It was not until Noah offered an acceptable sacrifice before the Lord did He remove this curse.

Cain shed the blood of Abel. The Lord had to put a mark on Cain so that those who meet him would not kill him. By the law of Moses, the blood of innocent can only be atoned for by the blood of those who shed it. It was tit for tat: A tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye.

In the days of Noah, an entire generation was wiped out because of unrighteousness. Even angels married and had children with women causing the Lord to ask: For how long must I contend with man? Only Noah, a righteous man who walked with God, was saved together with his wife and sons and their wives: Eight people in all.

 ¹⁹The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. ²⁰ For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope ²¹ that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.[Romans 8: 19 - 21]

Creation is subjected to a bondage to decay because sin defiled creation. Therefore, it waits in eager expectation! What an understatement. On that Day, freedom will come to all creation. The Redeemer will finally manifest in His full glory and power. His way of truth will lead to life; brand new life devoid of the contamination of sin. 

All these scenarios point to the  enormity  of sin and its pervasive corruption;  the insolence of the human heart; the ultimate destination of that which is contaminated with sin. We begin to understand the genesis of God's wrath that will never be quenched by the fires of hell: He rejects sin, therefore, it must be destroyed.  All this time, He has endured the filth of sin. But a day will come when He will demand payment for sin. Only the blood of the holy Lamb of God will save us.  

We now begin to appreciate the patience of the Lord;He gave us time to retrace out steps and find the Way of Life, that Highway of Holiness that is Christ, the  Anointed  One. 

Be afraid because death has always been close by; watching, waiting, bidding  his time to harvest his portion. Men are submerged by the mists of intellectual  pursuits; mistakenly  believing  that intellectual attainment places them above God. It is the same error that Lucifer made. It booked him a place in the eternal fire. 

Those who follow the path that Lucifer took will end in the same destination. It is a most  horrendous  conclusion. It is a most unthinkable destiny. But each has a choice: Your pride or your life. You can't have it both ways.

The Highway of Holiness is for the humble, the meek, the contrite, the repentant, the lowly, the pure in heart. It is for those who know submission and  surrender. Those who know the Lord is God and Master. The creator of heaven and earth. The origin of all origins. The  beginning  of all  beginnings. He who has no beginning and no end. He whose abode no one knows. One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Daniel understood that defilement was the stairway to the hell fire. He knew that destruction was coming to that which is impure. The Lord of Glory must destroy the earth and the heavens and create a brand new earth and brand new heavens where His glory is the light and the Lamb is its lamp. 

Meditate on those simple words that the Lord taught: 

Blessed are the pure, for they shall see God. 

Blessed are you who hear the call of the Lord and run to meet with Him. Your abode awaits you. He is eager to receive those who are His just as He is ready to punish those who reject Him. 

May the Almighty God, Jehovah-Mekaddishkem, the One who Sanctifies and makes whole, bless you.

The Controversy With Jehovah

It is clear that Kenya has a case with the God of Israel. This is what the Lord said to Israel, the apple of God's eye:

Hear the word of the Lord, you Israelites,
    because the Lord has a charge to bring
    against you who live in the land:
“There is no faithfulness, no love,
    no acknowledgment of God in the land. [Hosea 4:1]

The Lord has a charge to bring against the church in Kenya:

• It has preached money and the doctrine of  "panda mbegu"; the doctrine of the prosperity gospel from satan's kingdom;
• It has practiced sexual immorality at the pulpit; Bishops have impregnated the worship leaders and forced them to procure abortions;
• It has practiced witchcraft; pastors are known to carrying their bibles and microphones to witch-doctors in Tanzania so they may get powers to attract rich people in their churches; some pay tithe to witch-doctors yet lay their defiled hands on God's sheep;
• False prophets and false apostles and false teachers abound in the church of Kenya; every ridge has its "prophet" who prophesies  demonic lies; Jeremiah would have been horrified had he lived in Kenya today.
• They have worshiped idols of every kind including money and flesh
• Some have organised to kill the mighty Prophet of God.

There is no end to this appalling record. 

The modern church in Kenya is so intoxicated with their modernity, they no longer have normal hearing. It is OK to come to church in tight trousers and for women to expose every part of their anatomy; for keshas to become regular adulterous orgies; for devil worshipers to stand at the altars of God and make mockery of the precious blood of Christ. For pastors to become the clients of prostitutes. For politics and the clergy to become bedfellows.

What a tragedy that we have lived for decades under a spirit of deception. We sought wealth and health in the places Jehovah despises; among His enemies. In the dark alleys of the underworld, spruced up with the false glory of bling blings and ghetto slang.

You can't tell a church goer apart from the prostitutes and in many instances the prostitutes are far better dressed than the deceived sisters in the church. What a calamity.

So fumigated are we with the poisonous  smog of 21st century theology that we barely know whether we are moving forward or backward let alone differentiate East from West. Christians are the most ardent practitioners of Yoga and New Age philosophies. Unlike Daniel, we can not distinguish the language and literature of Babylon from that of Jerusalem, the Mountain of God.

So now the Living God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth has brought a charge against Kenya. He demands that, like Nineveh, we go before him in sackcloth and ashes to repent of these profanities and abominations else His judgement shall surely fall upon this country; the overflowing cup of God's wrath shall surely be poured out again upon us if we fail to heed the requirements of the Lord and spoken by His most mighty Prophet Dr. David Edward Owuor.

The church in Kenya- Awake!! Wake up!! 

Rise and shine. The Sun of Righteousness is of His way.

Shake out the fog of your drunkenness.

Apply salve to your defective eyes.

Cleanse your ears with ointment.

The Lord of Glory is coming. How will you hear Him? How will you see Him?

An oracle concerning Dumah: Someone calls to me from Seir, "Watchman, what is left of the night? Watchman, what is left of the night?"[ Isaiah 21:11]

Not much is left of the night. The Bridegroom comes at midnight and Kenya is not yet ready. The bride of the Lamb of God is unprepared. What catastrophe!!

Jubilee

Every fiftieth year, the Lord commanded that land and houses that had been sold be returned to the original owner (there were exceptions). What a strange law! But the Lord explained clearly it is "because the land is Mine and you are but aliens and my tenants" (Lev. 25: 23). Now that is breaking news!

If a poor person sold their land they could refund the balance of the price paid after a certain period had passed and get back their land. The balance would be based on the years left until the Year of Jubilee when it automatically reverts to the human owner. If the poor person had no resources to redeem their land, a relative - kinsman redeemer - could do it on their behalf and he or she could then go back to their property.

What does this all mean to those who worship Jehovah? A man once gave up his birthright for a plate of broth. His name was Esau. Another one gave up his life because he honored his wife more than God. It was the first act of idolatry. His name of Adam.

Because of his disobedience, death came upon mankind until now. We lost our "land" and have nothing of value that can be used to redeem it. Only an acceptable sacrifice of blood  before the God of Heaven can release us from this curse of death.

But Job knew in those ancient days that his Redeemer lives. He did not live to see the Redeemer but we have seen Him!! His name is Christ Jesus. He has presented the most holy and perfect sacrifice before the Father; a sufficient sacrifice; a fitting atonement; a very steep price.

Does it not, therefore, mean that those who accept this gift of our Kinsman Redeemer will be able to return to their own property? Does it not mean that those exiled to Babylon can finally return home to Zion? That they no longer weep but can sing the Songs of the Lord! Does it mean we are no longer captives but free Men? No longer in chains but liberated!

You who have accepted Christ as your Saviour and Lord do not need to wait for the Year of Jubilee. He will redeem you right away. He is your Jubilee!

The Number of God

Three is the number of God for me. Why? Because God often verifies His messages to me by delivering them thrice! It's His way of knocking at my door to say: Hey, wake and check my message! One of the most amazing things I discovered in 2007 was that the Spirit of God can be playful. Can you believe this? But then, He is our Father.

Back to the number. One day less than a year ago, I was driving downhill from Njoro located 22 km from Nakuru town in the heart of the great Rift Valley. A group of sheep started to cross the road. Sheep are particularly good at ignoring other road users so I had to slow down for them.

A few kilometers down the road, I came across a second group of sheep. Nothing unusual. There are sheep grazing all along the road. But when I saw a third group, I knew there was something going on. At that moment of retrospection, I "heard" the words "you are the sheep of my pasture."

I was sure I had heard those words before but could not recall where in the Bible they were located. When I got home, my first task was to search an electronic Bible for that phrase. I found it twice but it was in Ezekiel 34 that a message jumped out of scripture.

It was a harsh message about the shepherds. I knew it was about the pastors and leaders in the church and that the LORD was quite angry at them.

Some months later, Nabii Owour (Nabii means Prophet in Kiswahli language) spoke about a vision from the LORD in which the sheep were running back and forth on the rocky slopes of a mountain looking for any green thing to eat. The shepherds had led the sheep to these dry and barren pastures yet, down below, there was a lush meadow watered by the river of life that flows from God's throne!

What a powerful confirmation that the LORD used the sheep on the road from Njoro to speak to me and to those who would hear me. Therefore, shepherds  please read Ezekiel 34 very carefully. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. You stand on dangerous ground.

I Saw a Cloud Fall from Heaven

The dream on the day of Ascension, 2006:
I saw a cloud fall from heaven. Ever so slowly, like a feather on a calm day. And it reached the earth and spread out ever so gently like morning mist. And it covered the earth. Then, like a gust of a mighty wind, it was gathered upwards. It gathered up sparkling white flower petals from the four corners of the earth and formed into two mighty arches. Then Christ walked in between from the right side to the left with one arch on His right and the other on His left.

The rapture is near and Christ is coming for His church. This was a dream about the wedding of the Lamb, about Christ gathering up His church, His living stones. And He walked there amongst them.

What glory. What might. If Men only knew like Noah knew, they would prepare for this Day. They would abandon the world and seek the King of Kings. They would sing praises to the King. They would worship Him day and night. His Spirit will rise up within you and bring words of worship to your lips. If only you regard Him as LORD, if only you honour Him. If only you give all glory to Him. He is ready with open arms to accept you into His kingdom. He regards you with love. His children. Lost in this world.

Amen. Come Lord Jesus.

His Grace is Sufficient for Me

The LORD is gracious for He said to Paul and He says to me:"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corintians 12: 9

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Where is God?

There are many "Gods" but only one Jehovah God also known as the Living God. So where is Jehovah?

You can't visit Him (God is genderless but we have no way to refer to God personally in a gender-neutral way in English) because He is Spirit. You are a spirit housed in a body made of humus or dirt. You are a humus-man or human. The man is spirit but the humus, also called Adam, is dirt. You can't stand in God's presence and live.

But God can find you. Therefore, the question should be, Where Am I? Can God find me? Clearly then, the task is turned reverse: Don't look for God, rather position yourself where God can find you.

If God is truly the all-powerful maker of the universe, He is also truly sovereign which, in simple terms, means He does what He pleases. But He is also a God of Promise and covenant. He has indicated how He will deal with us and keeps to that promise. Therefore, God is very predictable even though sovereign.

By now you may have realized that God's true nature and modus operandi contradicts our natural mind's assumptions about God. He describes himself as humble and meek! The designer of life considers himself meek! He gives us a choice to follow Him or reject Him but provides consequences for each path you chose. It matters not whether you BELIEVE or not. After all, it will matter not whether you believe in gravity or not - if you jump off a building, you will probably break a few bones. It matters not whether you believe in HIV/AIDS, it will get you if you are careless.

In summary, the first step in re-positioning yourself so that God can find you is to recognize that God does not operate like Man. His ways of doing things often are upside down of our natural expectation. He says that His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.

The second step is to accept that God is LORD over you, that is, accept Him as your LORD and God and tell Him so audibly (yes, He can hear!). By taking this step which may appear somehow degrading, you have in fact elevated your position considerably in the spiritual realm. You are head and shoulders above every proud person who is unable to acknowledge that God created him or her and not only created but set a purpose for that creation.

The third mystery of God is that, despite being all-knowing, all-powerful, He is motivated in all He does by His love for us. Because we are made in His image, we tend to behave like Him only that we are not usually conscious of this aspect of our being. As an example, men will work for hours and hours to provide for their family. The intensity of their work is motivated by their love for their family. This kind of love is the kind that results in caring, reverence, and honor. Strangely though, this same love causes a parent to discipline their children when they start to wonder into bad habits and behavior. They do not discipline the child because they hate the child but because they love the child and would not wish to see the child get lost. Therefore, in a similar manner, God disciplines those whom He loves and the more He has favored you with gifts and talents, the hasher and quicker His disciplinary action.

The third step towards re-positioning yourself to increase your spiritual visibility is to start doing the things that God has asked you to do. In short, know and observe His commands. God does not make requests. He commands. You chose to obey or disobey, and hence, you chose the eternal path that you desire. It's as simple as that.

You have wronged God terribly by all the acts of disobedience you have committed. He even remembers the disobedience of your ancestors. But all these wrongs have been paid for. Even though He judged and condemned you, He made arrangements to have someone else pay the price for your wrongs. The price was death. Therefore, someone else died in your place. However, for you to receive forgiveness, you must accept this gift of life by acknowledging the person who died on your behalf and accepting that you deserved to die. In simpler terms, confess your sins to God and ask for forgiveness.

The person who died in your place was Jesus Christ, also called Immanuel who is the Son of Jehovah. Though He died, He did not remain in that state but overcame death (death is a spirit) to return to life. Jesus died as a human being. He came to earth in human form just as we are. He suffered bodily pain, anguish and death by hanging on the Roman cross - an instrument of terrible death and humiliation. They whipped Him, struck Him, spat on Him, tauted Him, dragged Him, stripped Him naked, nailed Him to the cross by the roadside, and speared Him. Jehovah, His father, forsook Him while He hang on cross. He died of a broken heart, rejected by both Man and God His father. This was the way your sins were paid for. When you reject this offer by God, you automatically chose eternal death, the only alternative.

Is this a fair deal? You may not think so but then again, did you chose to be born? He that purposed your existence surely has a right to chart a path for your life. In the same way you make decisions about how that which you have created should be used. Computers have no capacity to think: They do exactly what their creator tells them to do. There is no such thing as a "computer error." All computing errors are human errors. But remember, unlike humans who do not ask computers whether to compute or not to compute, God gives you the choice to follow His way or the way of the rebel angel called satan also known as the devil. This fallen angle was once called Lucifer and occupied a high office in heaven, but he fell from grace due to pride - Lucifer wanted to become like God. No wonder God hates pride with a passion.

These are the facts. Accept them or reject them but you can't change them. You have before you two choices: Life and Death. Chose Life.

More later. Next time, I shall peel back some mysteries of God and the messages that are embedded in our universe. Many of God's principles are hidden in what we call "Nature." Nature has no independence existence part from God. Many awesome mysteries are revealed by God through nature which is God's handiwork.

A prophet of the Lord God Jehovah walks the earth. His message to you is simple. The Wedding of the Lamb [the rapture of the church of Christ] is eminent: prepare. Read more on this blog. Timelines are changed - think eternity, think about the consequences of disobeying the Lord's command. It's way to horrible to contemplate.

Is this some hoax? Watch this blog and you will soon be able to judge for yourself.
